Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I know it is early... Christmas gifts for DCs
I know... already?!?! but I have been looking at what is out there and when DD says she wants something (which is nothing big, just some tiny trinket type toy) I tell her to add to her Christmas list for Santa, but this list is not all that big and she needs things for family too. My main thing is that she has been asking for some baby alive doll, but they are kind of weird and say 3+ on them- she just turned 5. I don't want more dolls, esp if she will be not wanting to play with it right after she gets it. If we did do this doll, or if someone has another that is better/similar and likes it please let me know, which of teh baby alives do you have/suggest. there are jsut so many. also, i have no idea what else to have her ask for, we literally will walk through toy isles and she says she doesn't see anything...can you believe it?! liek i said, the little trinket things, like squinkies and a random barbie (she does not need more barbies though). I even thought i ask for another Tag reader just b.c she has so many books to put on just one Tag- desperate. She has an American girl doll she jsut got, so she can get some things for that, but she really doesn't need all that much with that either. so, what are you getting your DCs? oh, and she has a bunch of legos too... too much stuff already.... wish we could jsut ask for all gift cards and go shopping a few months after christmas. :-)

I personally hate the baby alive doll. They are so annoying and the hair is hard. Most have on/off switches though so it helps.
We just got into the AG dolls and I was thinking of doing some matching dresses you can find them at Kohls/BJ'/Macy's.
Good to know about the doll- I was thinking the same thing abiut the hard hair... so ugly, but wouldn't tangle. ha! I also think they are so ugly! I used to have a life liek doll when I was a kid, was heavy, ate baby food and had a diaper- looked real and not ugly at all. where is that doll? :S
Didn't know Macys and BJs has the AG matching dresses too. Will have to check them out.
DD does love crafts- that reminded me I bought an Am girl doll bead/necklace case on sale, but it didn't come with anything in it... can get some stuff to add to it for her to make necklaces.
