Help me remember the name of this cookie
I don't know if they make them anymore, but Kroger bakery used to make these cookies that were super chewy, and they had bits of what seemed like caramel in them. Not soft or liquidy caramel, but super dense, chewy caramel.
Does anyone remember the name of these? Do you know what the ingredient was that was so chewy? I know they weren't the ranger cookies, because those had coconut and oats and stuff, and these definitely didn't.
Re: Help me remember the name of this cookie
I just figured out that ingredient--it's toffee, not caramel.
But I still can't remember what they were called!

No, that wasn't it. They were made in the Kroger bakery, so they didn't have a brand name. And there was no chocolate in it--just a brown sugar based cookie with toffee in it. Maybe some ground oats too.
Ah well. I even asked my sister, who I lived with when we bought them all the time, and she doesn't even remember buying anything like that. I've even googled and have found nothing. Maybe I just dreamt it or something! Maybe it's the universe telling me I should create a cookie like that...
