This is quickly becoming my new favorite show. The guys are hilarious. I really liked coach, but I think the new guy will be funny too.

tonight's episode was great!
I really liked it so much better than the premier.
I loved the end when the guys backed her up wearing her silly hats.

He shot the pilot for New Girl before he found out that his other show, Happy Endings, had be renewed. Due to contractual obligations, he had to stay on HE and couldn't do both shows.
I freaking love this show, a lot of LOL moments for me. Zooey is awesome and I love all the guys.
Yeah, I think it was smart of them to keep it open.
On the show, they explained the switch--Winston's name was on the lease and he wanted his place back after coming home from Latvia (Coach was subletting from him).

Me too. For me it is the more you see his character play out, the sexier he gets.
Nope. I find parts of it funny, but overall I don't think it's for me. MH thinks the guys are funny, but not enough to keep watching it. And I LOVE ZD, but I feel like they are playing way too much on the nerdiness factor. I would be much more likely to keep watching if they played it down a little bit.
I actually thought the premiere was much better than this episode. I thought this episode was trying too hard.
I hope they stop with the men all showing their support for Jess gags. I rolled my eyes when Winston put on the hat. I could buy the first two, but then the third was just overkill. I also think they're trying just a bit too hard to play up the eventual romance between the one guy (the bartender who was dumped too) and Jess. I think they have good chemistry and I'll enjoy watching their relationship grow, but they don't have to be so obvious this early.
I'll give it some more shots, but I wasn't as excited about it after yesterday's episode as I was after the pilot.
I don't know still how I feel about it. I missed the pilot and watched it yesterday because apparently its on the top 5 shows for fall but I think they are trying to hard.
And the fact the guys are supporting Jess too much without being friends for that long (I guess she found them at craigslists or something) seems too weird for me.
I like Zoeey to play characters like the one in Failure to launch...I thought she is funnier playing the unhappy "but i love being this way" bitchier kinda characters.
I guess I'll watch untill ABDC comes back
I like this character, but I love her in the types of roles you are talking about (I'm thinking 500 Days of Summer). She fits that "mysterious girl that you just can't figure out" role so well. I think that is what is bugging me about the Jess character. She's so obvious and I don't feel like it's working. I don't know...just my opinion.
I agree also with the over the top shows of affection from the roomates. It does seem a little early for them all to be so protective of her. I have had some protective dudes in my life, but not ones that I met on the internet two weeks ago...It's a very cute way to end the show every week, I just think they needed to show more "bonding" first.
Yeah, I don't think I'll keep up with it. I don't find anything about it unique.
