This
is my current haircut. I have very thin, fine hair, so this is really
the longest I can go. And you can't tell from the pic, but it is a
little bit shorter in the back, just a slightly inverted bob. I am
considering doing something like
this,
but really not sure if I can pull it off. I love the highlights in that
pic, but that's just not in the budget for us right now. I also
probably wouldn't pull it so much toward my face, more sideswept.
Thoughts?

So Tasty, So Yummy
I have fine hair, too, and I worry with it being that short if it will actually stay styled? Seems like product would weigh it down and it would just get limp again? I've never had it that short, though, so can't tell you from personal experience. I would ask your hairstylist their opinion - they would know from cuts they do how fine hair would fair in that style.
ETA: LOVE your siggie - and that family pic! :-)
I recently cut my hair similar to that and it was the best thing I have ever done! It was originally a little shorter than that pic but has grown out a bit and I like the length now.
I think that your face has a very similar jaw line to the model in the picture and the cut would look fabulous on you.
Something to consider though is the maintenace. I was getting my hair cut maybe twice a year before and now I can go no longer than 6 weeks max. That's quite an increase in spending.
Another thing is that it always requires styling.
I say go for it, but I'm a big fan of changing hair styles.
