Ok, you twisted my rubber arm. I put this picture up on FB last night, but here it is.
I made up felt rosettes and then hot glued them to the wreath wherever I felt like it (while attempting to prevent the cats from chewing on the wreath).
The whole thing cost about $12, including a bottle of glue and LOTS of leftover felt!

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

I agree with the ribbon... or maybe a bigger raffa/straw bow in the opposite corner (to keep sorta crafty and modern and not as old school granny wreath like the ones they sell at Michaels) Just something to balance it out....

Yeah, I'm liking the ribbon idea.
It didn't turn out the way I saw it in my head, but I don't really know what's different. The ribbon would help with how the heck I'm going to hang it too. Right now it's just propped up on the mantel (and my guess is that it will be on the floor when I get home, thanks cats).
