What sick bugs are going around?

Okay...so my little one has a fever and I am hoping it is just an ear infection...but was wondering what bugs were going around this time of year.

TIA

Re: What sick bugs are going around?

  • Neena, who very rarely gets sick, has thrown up twice today. She doesn't have a fever and is acting totally normal otherwise. It's weird.

  • bummer...Soy has been battling strep like crazy.  He got a shot today of antibiotics. :(

I hope Neena feels better soon!

  • William had a fever last Thurs evening thru Saturday am.  He had a few loose-ish poops, and didn't eat well, and was just the slightest bit congested for a few hours one day.  Chance now has eye goopies that are big enough to carry him off-per a trip to the pedi, it's him showing the cold-eye goopies and a sore throat.  So Chance has $100 eye ointment.  We'll see if DH or I get it, and how we get it.

  • Obviously we're dealing with strep about every week here too.

Jenn - watch Neena for a red throat. Katen gets nauseous when she has strep and often vomits. Hopefully it was just a quick bug but thought I'd throw that out.

  • We had a nasty cold come through our house a week or two ago.  Both boys got it, consisted of fever, nasty cough, constantly runny nose and congestion.  No medicine thought I did take baby CJ to the doctor since he was so little.  Nothing they could do, no ear infection with either child so it just magically cleared up on its own after a week and a half.
