Lasagna is in the crockpot
Fingers are crossed. Has anyone done lasagna in the crockpot yet?
Re: Lasagna is in the crockpot
I did a few years ago. The only thing I really remember about the recipe is that it used cottage cheese instead of the traditional ricotta. I don't remember it being bad but I never made it again so I guess I didn't love it.
I think it was just the way it was seasoned and the sauce that I didn't love. The lasagna itself turned out fine in the crockpot though.
jess, It's meatless and I put in spinach with the ricotta.
Yikes, it says to cook for 5-6 hours..I hope it's not done too early.
I did meatloaf the other day and it really turned out great.
My little nuggets
The meatloaf recipe, I sort of pulled from a few and made it my own because I like onion and garlic. The original recipe though is from here.
2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs (add an egg for every lb.)
1 pkg Dry Onion Soup Mix
2/3 c Bread Crumbs
I add: Italian seasoning, 3 cloves chopped garlic and about half onion (chopped). This is for your own flavoring. I put ketchup on after, I don't cook with it in it.
Cook low 8-10 hours.
