Ped. Recommendation Exton/Downingtown Area?

I also posted this on the Bump Philly Board, but this board is way more active.

We live in the outskirts of Coatesville and will be utilizing a day care in Exton right off Rt. 30 not far from Rt. 100.  Does anyone have any peditrician recommendations for this area?  I'm thinking the Exton/Downingtown area would work the best.  TIA!!

Re: Ped. Recommendation Exton/Downingtown Area?

  • When we were in that area we took our son to the CHOP care network in Coatesville off of 30.  It would only be about 15 minutes from that intersection and the dr's were really great.  I also love that you can use the CHOP nurses call line at any time as one of their patients.

  • I've used Chester County Pediatrics since 2001 & have been pleased, no complaints. They're located on Rt 30 in Exton, not far from Downingtown. I have also heard good things about All Star Pediatrics - Dr. Dyer in particular. That pratice is in Exton but is closer to Lionville/Chester Springs.
  • Love All Star Pediatrics - we've seen Dr. Italia & Dr. Chambers, as well as Jill (lactation consultant).  I have a 7 week old, so we haven't been with the office long, but I've been very pleased so far.  We chose them on the recommendation of two close friends who take their children there.  They are in Lionville.  They currently only accept families who are having their first child (newborns) - older children are placed on a waiting list.
  • My nieces and nephew go to Chester County Peds on 30 and my BIL/SIL are really happy with them.  Their office is between Lowes and Home Goods.
