Dog Trainer Rec

Does anyone have a good dog trainer rec in the Alexandria area?  My dog has some leash issues due to being attacked (was previously super sweet) and also needs to work on recall.  I've found a few but not many have reviews on yelp so I am hoping to find someone good through word of mouth.

Thanks!

Re: Dog Trainer Rec

  • We went through retraining after relocating to DC through Old Towne School for Dogs and I can't recommend them more highly- they're great (expensive, but worth every penny).

  • bark busters is another company, my parents used them for their lab (they come to your house) also $$ but worth it

Do you know if they actually live by their guarantee?  It will be $650 for the life of the dog so we could essentially do as many lessons as we wanted and it goes wherever we do (including overseas which is highly likely.)  I don't want to spend the money then not feel like I got what I paid for.
