Selling your wedding gowns
I haven't been on here in a long while but I've been trying to sell my wedding dress for the past little while and am not having any luck. I've got it posted in Craigslist and on Oncewed.com. All of the responses I'm getting back from CL seem like scams and I've heard nothing from Oncewed.com
Have any of you sold your dress or have any better advice for where to post it, etc?

I sold mine to Blue Sky Bridal and had a really good experience. I think a few other nesties have too.
I dropped off my dress, we agreed on a price and my dress sold in about 3 weeks and a week later I got a check in the mail for $400.
This is what I did with mine too, based on UW's rec. Mine took about two months to sell.

oh and judging by my sig, i've obv done a TTD session as well. i love-love-loved that and think it was more worth it than selling the dress. i love my TTD pictures more than i love my wedding pictures.
after my TTD, i had the dress in the bath tub....it's now sitting crumpled up in a ball in the corner of our man-cave. i don't know what i'm going to do with it.

hahaha no, i didn't stalk baltimore nest. maybe you posted it on here...i don't know...but i know it was a long time ago that i've seen these....probably pre-wedding for me.

Yeah I got divorced so I'm not really attached to my dress in any way and am not interested in any other pictures of it. I love it and think it's beautiful but I think it would better serve someone else than just sitting in my closet.
gotcha. my friends ex wifes dress is boxed up sitting in my garage. i don't know what i'm supposed to do with it since he keeps putting off telling me what size/brand it is so i can't even sell it =P
