Hi ladies,
I got a promotion back in July that came with a lot more money and a lot more responsibility. Turns out, it's way more work than I can handle. I've talked to my supervisor a little about it, but because it fluxuates with the season and there's only a month or so left of the season, there's unlikely to be a change before the season kicks in again in April. I'm not sure he understands HOW overworked/stressed out I am, so I guess I need to be very clear about that so he actually gets that I need to cut down the amount of work I have to do.
I guess I'm looking for advice as to how to get through the next month. I'm snapping at DH, I'm not sleeping well, I'm miserable every day, and I often hide in my cubicle because I get tearful.
If my circumstances don't change by April, I'm out of here. I decided that, but how do I make it until then?

Yes to all of those. When I explained the situation to my boss he said, "Ok."
I must not have explained it well enough.
Ugh, sounds like a position I had a few years ago. They've since replaced my position an addtional three times because the person who works it gets so burned out and doesn't stay more than a couple months.
Do you have a union or an HR person that you can talk to about this. Maybe explain exactly how you feel. Obviously you can't give him the ultimatum that you'll leave with the job market being crap, but maybe really try stressing that you aren't happy right now.
