I still can't decide if I love Giuliana or am completely annoyed by her... or BOTH.

I'm sorry, but Bill is a selfish azzhole. He repeatedly goes against G's wishes, or conveniently leaves her out of major decisions, such as where to live and tells her and himself that it's in her best interest. He's bought and sold at least 3 houses in Chicago and each time it was all his idea and she had no interest in moving, and he went ahead and did it.
I like him less and less each time I watch. I almost hope they don't have babies b/c you know he's never going to be around.
EVERY episode, he makes some huge, important decision and says "I'm not going to tell G yet."
And really? Have they not discussed where they're going to live once they have a baby?
Giuliana and Bill are named as executive producers in the opening credits.
I agree w/ a pp about Bill. He always says that Chicago is his home, his friends and family are there, etc. I'm sure he realizes that L.A. is Guiliana's home, so why are his needs more important than hers? Annoying. I get that they are loaded, so they can more than afford multiple homes, but JFC, at least give your wife a heads up and include her in the decision making process.
I'm also put off by the product/store placement this season. "Oh, HomeGoods has THE BEST stuff!" "Hotel Collection sheets, only at Macy's!" Part of me understands, get it while the gettin' is good. Make the money when and where you can. But be more subtle about it.
She has said herself, many times, that when they have children they will rasie them in Chicago. She wants them to grow up there.
It's on the DVR. I had to push back the recording for DH so he could record Terra Nova.
I like Guiliana. I think she'd be fun to hang out with. She seems really goofy/dorky. I didn't know she said they would raise their children in Chicago. I do think that Bill needs to include her more in the decision making process.

Yeah, she's mentioned it in several episodes over the years and there was even an article I read recently (from awhile ago) where she goes on and on about how much she loves Chicago. She said it's her favorite city in the U.S and if E would let her shoot there, she would never leave. ]
I think that's the thing with these shows, so much is editing. It always shows her just giving Bill whatever he wants (although he does the same in return w/certain things for her.) but the casual way they talk about and decide everything leads me to believe that there are a lot more serious conversations that happen off camera. It just seems to be the style of their relationship. I think they're really good together and seem to balance each other.
I agree with all of this. G has said over and over how much she loves Chicago, I just think she tries to stay in LA because she also loves her job. I think they have a good relationship that works for them. I also think that they put a big priority on making their relationship work and making family time important. I like that.
I really like them, but her forced "G Fizzle" and "raise the roof" hand motions all the time are driving me nuts! It also drives me crazy that it's clear that their interviews were done at one time and not right around when the issues were occurring, because they are in the same clothes, regardless of the episode. And it definitely seems like acting.
I am still a big fan, but I preferred how the previous seasons were done--less forced banter, less product placement, more real interaction.
My weight loss blog
I started watching this season and I enjoyed them until they kept talking about opening a resturant. That idea just turned me off and I grew bored. Opening a restaurant just seemed like a bad idea and then watching them argue over it was just bleh.
I usually keep the episode on while I'm doing other stuff so I can tune out those parts.
I agree with pps she seems like she would be fun to hang out with and she has a good sense of humor and I like that she can laugh at her self. That makes it fun to watch.

I like them. He's okay but I like her better. I can relate to the TTC issues so it's nice to see someone be so public about it.
Why did they sell the dream house in Chicago? I don't watch every episode so I'm not sure why they sold it after they spent so much time building/designing it.
They sold it because Bill agreed that both of them would make LA their home. Although since selling the Chicago house and moving to LA Bill has found every excuse to get out of LA.
I like them as a couple and no couple is perfect, but also I know the scenes are staged. I really don't believe they are having these conversations on camera for the first time. I'm sure a lot of their actual decision making goes on off camera.
I am glad that they are open about their fertility issues. It think it's good to have public figures share their journey since it's such a taboo subject.
I like him, but the way he attempts to calm her fears is annoying. He cannot keep saying it will be okay, I would prefer no matter what we will get through this and not pacify her like she is a child.
