$5, $50, $500, $5,000 and $50,000
What would you do with the money if you had it
$5 - A bagel breakfast sandwich tomorrow morning. I've been craving one.
$50 - nice dinner out
$500 - wadrobe update (some for now and save 1/2 for spring)
$5,000 - Disney vacation with the family (hopefully had enough leftover for a long weekend with TH)
$50,000 - all of above, new windows, pay a handyman to finish up small projects around the house, pad savings, and girls college fund.
Re: $5, $50, $500, $5,000 and $50,000
$5 Some fancy coffee drink and (to stay with the theme) 5 minutes to myself.
$50 fun light for the kitchen
$500 clothes (me too!) and shoes; not allowed to spend it on the kids for clothes.

$50 - new tennis shoes (and the will to use them for running lol)
$500 - A new camera lens
$5,000 - family vacation to probably Disney. With my sister and her family.
$50,000 - Pay off my car, pay down the mortgage, get lasix surgery, put money into Ben's savings fund.

$50--A Wayne*Law hoodie for $25 and a bottle of wine or two with the remaining $25
$500--A really fabulous pair (or two) of shoes. Maybe some Christian Laboutins or Giusseppe Zanotis
$5,000--either rent for an apartment for the next year or tuition (does tuition count if I'm going to be paying it anyway?) or new clothes--suits and such will be needed for summer work.
$50,000--rent a really great apartment over the next three years (I hate the RE market in Detroit), and use $10K of what would be left to pay off my undergrad SLs, and use ~$5K on 2week vacation after I take the bar and the last $5K on a new work wardrobe (definitely to include that pair or two of super fab shoes!). Anyone want to give me $50K?
$5- Yummy Coffee drink.
$50- Date night!
$500- 100 would go towards a sleep monitor for J (cause I am that worry wart mom), 100 towards a new bra and nursing tank, 100 towards a yoga membership, and the rest towards some new clothes.

Love that idea. That is usually what we end up doing. Selling our MBP to a client and get a new one. We've done that for the last 3 years.
