Re: Skydiving
I did it in June. It was spur of the moment. It was good, but I am NOT doing it again! LOL
Where are you going to ? Skydive Houston out at Eagle Lake? If you do, request to have Nate as your Partner. He is AWESOME. Funny but made me feel good and comfortable about the jump.
and if at all possible, spend the money for the photographer/video. It's worth it.
Why wouldnt you do it again???
Yes thats where Im going, I will have to call back and request him. Thanks!

I(I turn 30 on the 17th of Oct) am going with my mom (turned 50 last month), little bro (turned 20 last month) and my husband for our birthdays.
We plan on going to Skydive Houston in Eagle Lake. Super excited and we are definitely getting the video.
When are yall going?
Yes I am def getting the video!
I've been! Its amazing!
I can't wait to do it again.
I have been and loved it but like others have mentioned I will not do it again. I have a LO now that depends on me.
It is a great experience though.

Just not something that I would want to do again. It was thrilling and it was something that I needed to do as part of my bucket list. Not my cup of tea.

I've been twice. First time was near San Marcos and didn't do pictures and video. Second time was 1800-SkyDive (Skydive Spaceland) in Houston and got the pictures/video...well worth it!!!
Make sure you go on a clear day. The first time it was cloudy and rainy. I think that ruined the experience because you couldn't see as much. The second time was a beautiful day and was so much more fun.

I went last year at the Skydive Houston location and had a blast! I even went with new parents of a 5-month old.... truly you have a greater risk at dying in a car accident on the Houston freeways than jumping with a professional skydiver. For real!
Try to go as early as you can so you don't have to wait as long. I heard if you go too late on a Saturday, you'll be waiting for hours outside the hangar waiting for your jump time. We went very early on a Friday to get there when they opened and only had to wait 30 mins after our "video training" was done.
Have fun and enjoy! It's the greatest natural high I've ever had.
I've been twice, about 9 years ago with my cousins, and then again about 8 years ago with DH (fianc? at the time). I had bad landings both times! For some reason, I couldn't get the harness under my butt cheeks correctly, so I couldn't raise my knees to land on my feet. And the 2nd time, the jump master I had was a big guy, so I basically got squashed underneath him.
That said, I LOVED it! I wouldn't do it now though, especially with a family.
