DVD storage
Hi everyone. I have never posted here before, but I am looking to de-clutter and organize as much as possible. We have a lot of dvds, and they are taking up a lot of valuable storage space. My husband suggested getting a storage booklet (for lack of a better word) for them. Has anyone done this? Do the dvds get scratched in them? Or does anyone have any other ideas?

I really like it, it takes up so much less space.
No scratching thus far! We're just happy to have ditched the plastic cases.

I was thinking about purchasing this too, but I have yet to tackle the project of organizing all the DVDs.
I wanted to do this, but my hubs wanted the booklets with the DVDs, so this is what we did:

My husband has 4 very large cd cases (similar to these http://www.amazon.com/Case-Logic-KSW320-Koskin-Capacity/dp/B00025HIO4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1317934551&sr=8-3) which he keeps his dvds in. I can't stand it. As a result, all of his real dvd cases are in boxes in the basement, making it a huge endeavor to match up the cases if we wanted to sell them (which I really want to do....someday). But what irks me the most is that it takes f.o.r.e.v.e.r to find a certain dvd if you're looking for it! I wouldn't recommend organizing it that way unless you alphabetize it or something. I would much rather just keep our dvds on a bookshelf until we get a good tv consol that has storage for it.
I like the idea of hidden storage, like in a bench or something like that.
