Re: West side/Katy ladies
I love this place! http://www.wenchic.com/
They are great. I'm even thinking of going in on Friday and getting all my hair chopped again. But I don't have the nerve. Haha!
Jeannie and she is now at her sister's shop. Westheimer and Gessner area. Evalde Barber Shop 713-785-8698.
A little backstory. She used to work at the Memorial Barber shop, where Otto's was, and before that Visible Changes in the Galleria. My first haircut in Houston the lady butchered it....and I just have straight hair. I had a wedding to attend the next day. It just so happened my husband got his hair cut at the Memorial Barber shop a few days earlier and Jeannie cut his hair. So I walked into the barber shop, asked for her, explained what happened, with tears in my eyes took out my ponytail to which she had a horrified look on her face, yes it was that bad. She ended up taking almost 2 hours, way past closing hour, but made sure my hair was even and not chopped up. I trust her, she cuts mine, DH and now DS hair. She charges me $25.00.
This is where I go too.
Erica, recommend this place to me and I had a wonderful experience! Love it.
I went there for a long time because I lived and worked close. Now I go to Cutloose in Montrose because it is easier for me to go at lunch or something rather than to go on a weekend.
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you. My Blog
Rebecca or Lisa @ InStyle Salon (in Old Katy)
Marni @ Josephines Day Spa & Salon
I have some friends who go to Josephine's, and like it.
When I worked on that side of town, I went to Maria at Salon Jorj on Westheimer (near the Phoenicia Market). I went to her for several years. I'm actually considering returning to her for a cut when I visit in December.
