I will say though, the thing handles battery life pretty well... I think I only changed them once in the last year... they started dying again recently, and now that Sam's older she's starting to turn it on herself, so I have casually taken it away until I change the batteries again because it's just creepy man....

We have a Sophie too but she doesnt care about it yet.
Man, I used to diss Sophie so bad before I had a kid. Who would pay that much for a stupid teether? Its an over priced dog toy, I would say. Then someone gifted us one and now I cant wait for her to use it. Ive heard so many friends just rave about Sophie.

Oh we learned that the hard way- we left it in a bag during a 5 hour road trip and didnt realize it had an off switch. We had to fall asleep listening to the thing dying. But Charlotte loves it. She chews on it all the time now!
Teaghan sleeps with hers every night, as soon as we lay her down she rolls over and puts her arm around it and is out.
and as far as Sophie goes...its always in her mouth when she is in the stroller or carseat. That poor giraffe has lost most of the color on her ears from all the chewing.

Aww yay, I am glad she likes it! Weston is just finally getting over his. Now he loves his teddy bear

Hey!!! I was thinking the same about you. How are you feeling?? You're so close.
My kid is the weirdo that didn't care for the seahorse. It actually kept him awake rather than put him to sleep. :-( I retired it a month or so ago. Might try it again a bit later.
