Foodies- Pork Loin Roast

FIL gave us a 4 lb piece of pork that says it is a pork loin roast.  When I've tried looking up recipes everything says roasted pork loin.  I've bought really big pork loins from the grocery store before, so is this just the same thing?  I'm trying to come up with something to make with this.  Would a pulled pork recipe work, or does that use a different cut of meat?

Help, please.

Re: Foodies- Pork Loin Roast

  • I'm pretty sure it's the same thing as a pork loin. Throw it in the crock pot with enough root beer to cover most of it and cook it until it's super tender. Pour some bbq sauce on it and have yourself a pulled pork sandwich. Yummy!!

  • Yah sounds like the same thing to me....you could do what Kelli said I've done that before and I also recently did a Pinterest Honey Buttered that was so so so tender and good.

Since it's 4lbs I would actually cut in half and freeze 2lbs for later
