As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Gah! I have no clue.
I was just telling H last night that I would love to be a high school or junior college English teacher for a couple of years, just so I could feel like I did my part to correct the text-speak mentality of the young'uns.
One of the churches I pass on my way to base every morning has been advertising a Boy Scout fundraiser for the last month or so. The sign says, "Fill R canoe with food."
No. I will hoard my surplus canned goods because I don't want to reward the laziness of whomever chose not to use the O and U.
I am guilty of sending a crappy message to one of my child's dance teachers. She sent out an email in txt speak to all the parents. My reply:
"I'm sorry. I'm not sure where your parents sent you to school. I have a fairly decent education and can not read this email. Could you please translate it in English? Thanks"
She sent out another mass email written in English and containing an appology.
I don't understand why business people think its okay to do that.
