Back Cove Midwives

I'm thinking about switching to a midwife for my current pregnancy.  Has anyone used Back Cove Midwives?  Good experience?

     I used them for all three of my pregnancies, they are great :) Ellie is wonderful (and delivered all three of my girls) and so is Jen.  My Mom was a maternity nurse at Mercy for 25+ years, and I've known Ellie and a lot of the nurses there since I was a little girl.  I liked that they primarily use Mercy, we even drove from Turner to Portland with the last two.  HTH!

    I used them just last year for my first pregnancy and continue to use them for my womanly health needs. I really liked them. I agree with Meg that Jen is awesome, but that is, of course, because she assisted in Delia's delivery. We actually had a nurse and a student midwife for most of the labor because Ellie was assisting someone else. But Jen did come by the time I started pushing. They are all great and really make you feel safe and comfortable during delivery and the months leading up to it. I would totally recommend them to anyone. My SIL is using them for a second time around right now and she is happy with her care as well. One thing I enjoyed was the visits from all of them during the hospital stay. I am pretty sure they all came to visit us at least once in the hospital.
