I ordered some custom wood letters online last summer. Unfortunately, the bookmark is on my work computer which I no longer have.

You have many fonts to choose from and you can pick the height as well as the thickness. I got unpainted ones, but they have a selection of painted letters as well. The link is for the unpainted ones.
These are pricier than Joann's, but you get more font selection so it was worth it to me.
