just started watching (i'm on the west coast)...
so far, so good, however, the main character looks like emma stone. has hollywood decided that that "look" is the only one suitable for snarky/cute teenage girl characters?

And yes, she looks a lot like Emma Stone.
for a pilot episode I was pleased... I will try and remember to watch again!
my biggest problem with keeping up on shows is A - remembering they're on or B - remembering to set my DVR lol

that said...i kinda agree. i enjoyed the first 10 minutes, but it went downhill after that.
Thanks for this review. I was sick Wed. so I didn't watch the premiere, but this made me want to watch it. I like Easy A and Mean Girls enough that even if it's low-budget and a ripoff, I might still like it. Cool. I heard it was the best comedy of the season and works well with ABC's other shows, esp. Modern Family.
Did the father have his daughter when he was 12? I think he should be older or she younger. When I saw the promos I thought that they wree husband and wife!
