Why does this process have to take so long?
So many hoops to jump through to buy a house and so much waiting on other people. I mean, I get it, it's a house, it's a HUGE investment, but I want to move into it and know it's a done deal now.
Just wanted to whine about that for a minute! Who else feels this pain? We are under contract, pre-approved, had a home inspection and now we're waiting to schedule an appraiser. They are very busy with refinances right now, so our mortgage rep was still trying to nail down an appt. We have til November to close, so still plenty of time. I'm just SO anxious and excited about our new house! : )

Patience is a virtue!
I know it's exciting. I've been under contract for over 100 days, and eventually we just stopped getting our hopes up. Three closing dates have come and gone. It's amazing how hard you have to work to give away hundreds of thousands of dollars! I've been working out my energy by getting on pinterest and planning out the whole house.
I saw some friends find a home they wanted to purchase a month after we went under contract. They're moving in this weekend, and we still don't have a real closing date. It will all be worth it.....
