How do you deal with diaper rash for overnight, without a disposable or liners?
Alex has a decent diaper rash, fairly common for her when having constipation issues. Usually I just load up on the Budeaux's and put on a disposable. However, we are out of disposables, it's pouring and H isn't home until late tonight. She's running free (with me asking her to use the potty every two minutes) for now, but I'm not sure the best way to handle overnight.
Re: Another CD question
I use Method diaper cream when the rash isn't too bad because it's CD friendly. It's not the most effective diaper rash cream but it doesn't have a strong odor and I can use it with CDs. But that won't help you since you can't run out and buy some.
You could use some scrap fabric or rip up an old shirt to use as a liner with your CD and go ahead and use Budeaux's.

Really? Olive oil? Interesting. We don't have coconut oil or baby powder. I'm hoping it will dry out a lot and the redness will go down before I have to seal her up for the night. If not, I'll be rummaging the craft corner of my room for some fabric to use with the butt paste.
Yep!

Home remedies for diaper rash include the application of breast milk, olive oil, coconut oil, lanoline (Lansinoh: pure lanoline), corn starch, and vegetable oil or shortening. Be selective about using cornstarch or breastmilk as they are known to make a yeast infection worse. Also, lanoline is a product that may be an allergen. My Blog Picture A Day Blog
