I was really bored today and lurking on BOTB when some posts got linked. If you are also bored and want to read some serious over reactions and crazy people go to the Multiples board. All the red star posts are amusing.
Also, why does the nest never have bsc people anymore? Did the crazy train derail once the wedding was over but before the pregnancy hormones? Or, do I just not pay enough attention?

Re: Crazies...
LOL, well wedding planning makes people inherently crazy. I think a lot of wedding planning crazy comes from the fact that brides think they're supposed to act crazy. And pregnancy hormones make people BSC. It lowers the IQ or something, IDK. I enjoy the crazy bump posts.

Yesterday was a sh!tshow and a half. It's the same thing that comes up every once in a while and people get all butthurt. I tried to stay out of it.

It really was a broken record from when the GPM board was created. Although, yesterday came out of freakin' nowhere.

In a nutshell...there was an influx of BFPs in September, and so the board had a lot of BFP/new pregnancy posts (obviously the girls were excited) and one of the TTTC girls mentioned that it was hard to see those posts, especially in light of the volume of them. Someone suggested they do a daily or weekly PG check-in as a place where the PG ladies could post any updates they felt like sharing instead of having tons of pregnancy-related posts all over the board. We have check-ins for TTC, TTA, T-TTC, so it kind of made sense.
It quickly spiraled down into a board-wide explosion of PG girls being offended and feeling like they can only post when things are "bad"/T&Ps needed, people feeling like they were being pushed out of the board, people saying the environment of the board has changed and isn't GP-centric anymore.
There was a lot of reading comprehension fail, a lot of girls getting haughty and attacking each other. It was my "getting to know your nestie" day and I was posting stuff throughout the day because I felt like this:
And then much later in the day, like this:
And finally this:
I really just lost a whole lot of interest in the board because of it. The girls I care about, I'm friends with on Facebook. I can't stand drama, especially with a bunch of virtual strangers.

omg those pictures almost made me snort.
I've been lurking on GP quite a bit lately, and although I hate the drama for the girls on the board, it's always so entertaining. I just hope that not too many people were hurt by it..I'm sure a lot of them are so emotionally involved in a lot of the other girls.
The thing that sucked the most were the girls who are still trying, and have been a while, who felt hurt and frustrated. At the end of the day, it's a board for support for trying to get pregnant. The ones who were causing the most issue were PG or TTA. A few of the TTC regs took a break for a couple days to cool off. I think things are normalizing, but I think there's some real tension now that some people have shown their true colors.
I have kept checking in because there are a few ladies there I am emotionally invested in. I so badly want to see their BFPs.
Oh, teh dramaz.

I'm so glad I opened this thread because Shazzie's pictures are amazing.
I also lurk on GP because I love other people getting KTFU (as I've said many times!), so I saw some of this...totally crazy.
Speaking of GP...I was TOTALLY surprised by Brie's BFP. We are actively TTA, but I almost felt what I imagine to be a very small percentage of what the TTTC girls must feel. Dude, it was her first cycle! And she was supposedly NNT...which really means TTC, I think. To me NNT is more like doing a pull'n'pray, hahaha!
