What is on Robyn's face under her lip? A scar? Cold sore that's always there? The herp?
Re: Sister Wives question
Isn't a cold sore and herpes the same thing? My SIL gets them when she's stressed and when she was pregnant she always had them (decreased in imune system).
Very interesting. And according to herpes-coldsores.com you are spot on, Sibil.
Can't you get herpes in your eye?
67/200
WHAT?! Tell me this isn't true.
I know cats can, I bet people could too I am kind of curious how you would contract eye herpes though....
Gross Leah!
Here's an explanation: The herpes simplex virus usually lives inside the nerve cells of the body without causing any problems. But from time to time it may flare up and cause cold sores around your lips and mouth.Or it can travel down the nerves to the eye and cause a flare-up of herpes infection there. To understand how herpes simplex eye infection can affect you, it helps to know about the different parts of the eye.
Yep your right. Simplex 1 and Simplex 2. I can't remember which is which though.
Yep, just like you can get Shingles in your eye too.
I knew this I just couldn't remember which strain was which. And I know they can occur in either region. I posted before I had read your post as well so its not like I was discounting your knowledge.
