Eviction date set
My precious little girl will be here (hopefully) by this time next week. If she doesn't decide to come on her own, I will be getting induced on Wednesday night, on my due date, October 5, 2011!
I am kind of excited to have an end date, I am so anxious to meet my baby! Of course DH said, "if she comes on her own before then, I will be all thrown off" - we're both such planners!
Surprisingly I am not really nervous about labor and delivery at all, I am just more than excited to meet our little girl.
Thanks for letting me share... and we'll have another July 09 baby soon!
Re: Eviction date set
I have a split (two conected lobes) placenta and the baby's cord is split between the two lobes, there is a risk of her getting too big and putting pressure on some unprotected vessels. If I do go into labor on my own, I have to go the hospital immediately, so they can monitor her for any distress. I think having an induction scheduled, gives me peace of mind that they will be able to monitor her throughout labor and I know she will be safe and sound the whole time.
They wouldn't let me go past my due date by much with this risk, so we went ahead and scheduled for my due date.

I'll be lucky if she comes the 5th - we don't actually go in until 7:30pm... I am thinking the 6th will be the day!
