Please Recommend Your Dishwasher!
We've finally gotten around to buying a new dishwasher. We're working with the dishwasher that the previous owners of our house left and it's nearly 15 years old. It hasn't died yet, but it's definitely on its last legs.
Please recommend yours! Our needs are that it have the stainless steel tub and hidden controls. Thanks!

His name is Michael, I've had him for about 7 years now and he still works great, he's not very quiet, he tends to complain but he does do the dishes so I don't mind.
I kid, I kid. I don't have any real recommendations, we bought the cheap one. Next time I'm going for the stainless steel drum and hidden controls. Live and learn. My ILs bought the super duper fancy ones, I don't remember which brand they are (yes they have two) that are absolutely silent and they love them, but you have to rinse dishes really well because the silent ones don't have the built in disposal, that's one way they're quieter. I'm lazy so I don't think quieter is worth it to me.
the house we just bought has a Bosch. i was soooo excited when i saw it. but after using it for a few months, it's not *that* impressive. it cleans the dishes but i've had to rerun it on a couple loads - it doesn't seem to get that hot. it is REALLY quiet. so quiet i can't even tell that it's on when i'm standing right next to it.
