Why is Matt wearing sunglasses? I noticed it yesterday too, but I thought maybe the sun was just in his eyes.

Ha, I was wondering the same thing. When he was interviewing Amanda Knox's sisters they weren't wearing sunglasses or squinting. It looked awful.
I think they are trying to regroup or something. I don't think Ann is as likeable in her role. I do like Savannah Guthrie though holy jeebus she's tall! Some of the group shots are a little off if she's in tall heels.
I am so not an Ann fan. When she's out in the field, I actually think she's good. But as anchor? Oy vey. I've said to myself "if I ever find my self in a position where the Today show wants to interview me, I would specifically request anyone BUT her.".
She drives me bonkers w/ her emotionally leading questions and then when she actually answers the question for them..... arg.

I totally agree about Ann Curry and her interviewing style. I also think she screams into the mircophone when she's outside.
Al annoys me too- he does not seem like a nice person. Years ago, he was out on the plaza looking for little kids in their Halloween costumes and there was a mom there with her little one all dressed up and Al said how cute the kid and the costume was and then he asked them where are they from and the mom said "right here in the city" and Al cut the mom off and moved on quickly and said into the mic "lets get someone who actually came from out of town for this" It was just so rude- so what that she was from the city?! Was her costume not as important because she wasn't a tourist?
I agree about Al. He is probably my least favorite. He posts some really angry twitter posts at people that criticize him. I saw some of his tweets following the hurricane that went though NY and was surprised NBC wouldn't tell him to tone it down. I like Ann better than Meredith.
