Re: FFFC?
not sure this is flameful from you ladies, but I am SO SICK of the stupid nonsense on my month board on TB. These girls are so annoying. They are constantly complaining about wanting to be done with pregnancy. Or they are freaking out b/c the u/s tech told them they have a "big baby". Don't people know those things are not usually very accurate?
I have to stop even going there. Thinking of deleting the bookmark all together.
I have a HUGE work event this weekend and I don't want to be here at all!!! I can feel myself coming down with a cold and its going to be horrid by Sunday night when I finally get to go home!
On top of this huge work event, I am supposed to get the help of a co-irker and she is just complaining the whole time about how she has to miss her 21YO daughters tennis match since the boss told her she couldn't take today off...UM no you can't have one of our busiest days of the year off...
I went back to E on the knot last night and it was nice to be recognized and missed. I still miss wedding planning and having our three year anniversary brought it back to the front of my mind.

I've been experiencing nausea for two days. Now if I had a reason to have this nausea I wouldn't be complaining but it's just a reminder of what I don't have anymore. I think my body is just adjusting back.

I've been slacking off at work and the more they delay this outsourcing announcement the more I slack. I was told to limit my internet and personal phone call time and while I do realize I'm on the net too much, it's because I have no motivation to actually work my buns off anymore. I was only on the phone recently due to my friend calling off her wedding and I'm totally being blamed for the people who moved in next to me as they are LOUD and constantly on conference calls at their desks when they should be in a conference room. My boss brought this up again in my midyear review and I admitted to the internet and said I'd cut back, but it was not fair about the phone calls. She went on some schpeal about how she doesn't do it and I said, "really?! b/c we all know when you are going to happy hour and you talk to your daughters everday." She laughed nervously and said, "Oh". Seriously...don't tell me to get off the phone I'm rarely on unless you plan on doing it yourself. They also won't let us celebrate birthdays on our team anymore with cake. Not bad for my waistline, but it's really put an even worse of a cloud over us and just cut down morale even more. And we got spoken to as a team for having too many personal conversations in the aisles. We are in prison. We also had a meeting on Wednesday that basically said look out for yourself, the career center is already available to you, change is good- basically, don't sit and wait for a pink slip...fabulous.
Emily - that's annoying about the dishwasher. I hate opening it up to put dirty stuff in just to realize that everything in there is clean.
My FFC is that I judge people at the grocery store based on what is in their carts. I know I shouldn't, because you never know what they are buying for, but I still do.
Blog
I know it's only been 5 months since I left XH, but I think I'm falling for JS. I've had strong feelings for him for awhile, and everything seems so natural with him. It's weird, and I never thought I'd feel this way about somebody else so soon.
No kidding. I honestly won't be upset if I get cut. My resume is ready, but I really don't want to leave the company so I'm holding tight for now. I can't just transfer somewhere else in Finance, so staying if I'm laid off would be a career change for me. My area is one of the first 6 in Finance to be reviewed and the rest are on a hiring freeze. Oh, and we each contributed $1 each month to the cake fund, so it wasn't even coming out of any sort of budget.

Apparently, it's too disruptive and since not everyone is included it isn't fair. We included the two teams in our area only as typically each team does it's own thing. For example, I'm in Reinsurance Accounting, then there's a cash team, and a team called RTS, and a Statutory Reporting team all on our side of the floor. We included the two teams in Reinsurance Accounting, but not the others on our side of the floor. It's stupid really. And now I want cake. Hmpf.
I can not wait to finally meet up with Kasi next week!
Deep down I really do not want to go to the conference in San Diego. I found out the people who said they were going bailed. The main reason I was going b/c of them and to get re-certification points. Oh well, it gets me out of the office for a few days.
Plus, I become a nervous wreck leaving Brian on his own. Yes, he is 34 yrs old and is a grown man but the fact his idea of dinner is grilled cheese-makes me wonder. Not to mention feeding the cats, cleaning their boxes, and just general clean up. Ugh.

don't go to 3rd tri then either, it is amazing to me how many people whine about "being done" especially before you are even full term. Yeah, it can suck sometimes but seriuosly you knew that when you got pregnant!
And no I think a lot of those women just take what the u/s told them as gold.
I agree. I stopped visiting the bump regularly awhile ago. If I have a specific question I search but mostly I stick here.
I have barely done any work this week. When things get busy in a few weeks I am going to be f***ed
