He has poop stuck on his butt hole. Ugh. I know I need to give him a bath because I didn't get it all off. We hope to do some yardwork today, so I'm saving the bath until he's done getting dirty.

Re: I wiped my dog's a$$
Done that. If the dog eats some of my hair, sometimes the poop is dangling out of her butt. So I grab a poo bag and pull it all out.
Be careful to not wait too long, it could dry on and you will have to soak / scrub hard..

Yeah, we're at that point
Ahh, one of the many joys of dog parenting. Good Luck!
My dogs have long hair, so at least once a week some poop will not fall to the ground and we have to get it off. We have a variety of strategies: get them to run in the yard, use scissors to cut it off, wiping it off with toilet paper, a full on bath.
It is funny though, they always know when it is still hanging on and they act different. One of them just sits there and refuses to move.
The joys of fluffy butts
I kind of like to let it get hard and do the scissor method. So gross.

Obie does this, too. I have no idea how he eats so much of my hair. We call them clingers. So gross.
