TGIF! I'm sad to say goodbye to September but so glad Friday is here. It's payday, and after 2pm or so the craziest work week of the month will be over, and I am making apple pie tonight!
Weekend plans anyone?
Re: Friday!!
Tonight I'm making mexican lasagna and trying to convince Josh to watch Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead with me.
Tomorrow we have the unenviable task of cleaning out the chest freezer that somehow tripped its GFI while we were traveling. Pray for us.
Sunday we're watching football.
I think that's it. I also have some stuff I need to consign and I need to get my hair cut and colored, but I don't think that Josh is going to view either of those as an acceptable reason why I can't help him with the icky freezer.
I'm getting my furnace cleaned this afternoon so I'll be hanging around the house. Leftovers for dinner.
Saturday, we're going down to Boston to spend the night with BIL and SIL. I can't decide if we should go early and make a stop at Ikea. On the one hand, I love Ikea. On the other hand, I don't need anything and I'll probably buy a bunch of random stuff if I go. Decisions, decisions.
Sunday, we're taking Helen to see the Yo Gabba Gabba show at BU. After the show, we'll drive home.
Hoping to go for a jog (have officially downgraded from calling it a "run") after school with the whole family, then just relaxing at home. Maybe takeout for dinner.
Tomorrow morning I am volunteering and then walking in an Alzheimer's walk with my dad. My BFF and her boyfriend are coming down to visit so we'll do something with them in the afternoon/evening.
Sunday I'm hoping for another jog in the am. Then we are heading to the Fryburg Fair (so excited to eat yummy stuff!) and to a birthday party for a friend's daughter who's turning 2.
Excited for a fun weekend but wish the weather was going to be nicer!
Yay for the weekend!
Today/Tonight: Taking Will to his two month check-up appointment this afternoon with his new doctor- looking forward to getting to know the practice! There are a ton of walking/biking trails around our house, so I'm hoping little guy and I will be able to take in a little outdoor time after his appointment. Tonight will probably be mellow- I promised Kyle I would make shrimp po'boys and we'll probably catch a movie at home.
Tomorrow: One of Ky's old deckhands is going to be in New Orleans for work, so we're heading into the city to meet her and walk around. It's the first time we've been able to get down to the city, so I'm looking forward to walking around and taking in some of the city. Heading home for the night and relaxing, maybe enjoying dinner on the back deck?
Sunday: Lazy family morning, probably making brunch and then working on getting some of the last bits of the house put together. Budrow's room is a bit of a war zone right now, so I'm hoping to get that all finished and put together. We're so close to being settled!

Today - Waiting for MH to get home, he has been away all week for work so the baby & I can't wait to see him! Plus it will be nice to have help because S has been kinda fussy this week.
Saturday - Play date with friends. One friend has an 8 month old and the other just had a baby 2 weeks ago! I give her props for wanting company! I miss S being a squishy newborn, hopefully seeing her newborn will cure my baby fever!!!
Sunday - Hanging at the house, football and NASCAR...blah. I am hoping to get some ME time! Not sure what though, since S will NOT take a bottle I can't be too far from home.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
First of all, Megan I love Don't Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead!! I will have to find that!
Tonight: going to quickly run up to Portland to check out the ring I want
Tomorrow: heading to Colby Sawyer to see a former student get an award and then head to Manchester to have lunch with the boys' godfather/DHs best man
Sunday: lazy day hopefully!
Ooohhh yes the Fryeburg Fair is starting!!
I want to go but I think we are waiting till next Sat. so Matt's dad will be back from his business trip. He and E are best buddies so we want him to be able to go with us. Although I think my parents are going this weekend. Heh, maybe I'll go twice.
There is a fall festival opening this weekend, but it will be close to 90 out so we may wait till the weather begins to feel a bit more like fall.
Felix is addicted to the acquarium so I think we will do that tomorrow.
DH is filming a small role on Hot in Cleveland tonight so I am going to watch the live taping!
Tonight- Hopefully going out to dinner with DH, It's been a really crazy week for both of us and I need some down time together.
Saturday- Heading up to Orono to visit BIL. It's family and friends weekend at UMaine and since my IL's are on their way to NJ to meet the new baby and help SIL out we figured we'd head on up.
Sunday- Cleaning and housework. Low key I hope.
We're back!
Today - things around the house and tonight dinner with the IL's since they want to see DD before they head out to Florida tomorrow.
Tomorrow and Sunday - who knows with this weather
we have to cram Fall into this weekend and next before my surgery so the goal is apple picking, pumpkin picking, fair, etc etc
Finishing up the work day!!
Tonight, probably nothing. I might do some coupon shopping after I get Taylor but I'm really wanting to stay home.
Tomorrow and Sunday I think I am staying home. I really need to clean and just have some time to rest. I've been gone every weekend for two months. I really want to go for a hike though.........
Right now: pulling my hair out just a little bit. Work is so stressful today.
Tonight: Packing
The rest of the weekend and Monday we will be here:
www.mountainviewgrand.com which is where we got married three years ago next Tuesday. I can't wait to get away. I propose no phones, no laptop. Just me, Seth and Abe (I know he can't live without the damn laptop though...gotta upload that run!).
Yay weekend!
Tonight I'm driving up to meet DH after work to get some shopping done. Mostly baby stuff and other finishing touches for upstairs (bathroom mirrors, headboard, bedding). Saturday & Sunday we plan to put a closet system in the baby's room and possibly move our bedroom upstairs. I will be so glad to have this all finished, bonus if it's before baby arrives!
Family day today at the Cumberland Fair and running errands this afternoon. It was so fun to see Abby with all the animals and she was so cute "telling" Uncle Chris about it. These one word sentences are fun.
Tomorrow = farmer's market, scratch bagels, fixing our chandelier with my friend, fall bbq, and hopefully at a decent hour.
Sunday = work :-( But, it's one my last weekends working!!
Tonight was an average Friday night- low key dinner and hanging around until now when I'm going to follow DH to bed to sleep.
Tomorrow & Sunday: Groceries at some point, maybe some baking, watching the Pats. I REALLY wanted to go down to the corn maze & fall fun place outside Saco this weekend, but the weather is iffy and more importantly James has had a 102 fever for 2.5 days now, so we probably shouldn't have him out for hours. So who knows.
Oh yeah, duh, it's our 6 year anniversary tomorrow! I wanted us all to go out to eat for dinner somewhere casual where we won't have to worry about James being his 2-year-old self, like the local diner, but again, he's been sick, so it's killing my plans.
That kid is a real drag.
