Could Whitney be worse? (SP)
There really aren't any spoilers in this post because I could only watch 2 minutes of each episode. I swear every other commercial I see is for Whitney and (IMO) this show sucks, hard. The over acting, the laugh track, the obvious jokes just don't work with the other shows on NBC on Thursdays. I think I hated this show before it even started with all the promos they were running.
I think it might even be worse than Outsourced.
I saw a Spanish guy doing the Bartman.

And I just didn't find last night story line amusing in the least. They took what could have been a cute idea (going out on a "first" date), but they pushed it WAY too far.
At least the BF says all the things that I think most of the audience is thinking....

I really liked Outsourced
I haven't seen Whitney yet, I DVRd last night's episode though, so I'll soon have an opinion on it.
Is she in Two Broke Girls, or did she write it? That looks awful too, so it makes sense.
I thought I deleted the season pass from my DVR but it recorded last night so I guess not. I guess I'll torture myself and watch this one last time... LOL

Last night was the first time I gave it a chance and I could only get through the first couple of minutes.
It says it's recorded in front of a live studio audience, but there are still definitely laugh tracks. And they're so horrible and far too frequent.
Every single line is so forced.
I got through about 10 minutes of the first episode and turned it off.
Agree with what everyone else is saying...very forced, all about the punch lines which I don't think are funny anyway, horrible laugh track.

agree. I dont love it and I dont think it is the best thing on television but the first 2 episodes were better than a lot of other comedies that I have seen on TV.
we also loved Outsourced.
Ditto this.
I think this may be it for me too. I kind of like it also. Same with 2 Broke Girls. They are cheesy sitcoms and if they made me laugh (which they both do) they have done their job. But I don't judge most shows too harshly. There are shows that I LOVE that H and I dedicate an hour to watching each week and there are shows like those two that I have on while I'm surfing the internet or something.
Ditto!!!
