Re: FFFC

  • I get irrationally annoyed when I see skinny people eating poptarts.
  • Im tired of people treating my like it's my fault the banks are charging more fees. Sorry, they didn't ask my opinion.

That really sucks and it's definitely not fair. People just want someone to take their frustration out on. I try really hard not to take stuff like that out on any CSAs that are helping me. The only time I get short with people(regardless of industry) is when I get inconsistent information that takes me around in circles or if the same error happens multiple times. Even when I do get annoyed I'll usually apologize and say "I'm sorry, I know this isn't your fault." Unless it clearly was...that's a different story.

I'm not entirely sure. There's the tiny bit of jealousy over people who can eat all these yummy foods and stay slim whereas it's such a struggle for me. And also, when I'm the one eating foods like that I feel like people judge me and think "well no wonder she's overweight." But honestly, I don't feel like that often, typically it doesn't bother me at all. But there's just something about poptarts... I can't quite put my finger on it...

Maybe it's because if someone is eating a cupcake or a donut, you know that's an indulgence kind of thing... but a poptart is like candy masquerading as a convenient breakfast food. It comes off as so nonchalant. Yeah, I know this makes no sense at all. I should stop before I get myself in trouble. :)

And by the way, that wasn't directed to anyone here. It's just been a long week.

You are not alone. This makes perfect sense to me. It's still irrational, but apparently we share the same irrational thought process.

  • I've never seen so many "blinker drivers" in my life since moving here. What is everyone's deal.

  • I think it's stupid when people bring in bagels from Dunkin Donuts. Dude, if you're gonna go to Dunkin Donuts, get some freaking donuts. If you're going to bring bagels, go to Einsteins or Panera.

Also, I ate way too much sugar at my work shower today. I am borderline GD and am supposed to be eating better than that. Thank God this is the last celebration type thing before the baby will be born, cuz I can't handle all this good food. It was so yummy and now I hate myself for eating it.

  • I am extremely disappointed in my boss. The things that she suggest sometimes make me give her the side eye.
Another old nestie with a new name.
  • i'm watching the movie when in rome... it's the only thing on demand that looked decent. i'm also so bored, i hate DH's schedule because it leaves me alone every weekend whether he's got home games or away.

i'm so glad i went back to work when i did, i way underestimated my maternity leave budget.
