Hoping for great weather
We closed on our construction loan yesterday. Last week was when we signed the builder's contract. Today, the building permit is ready to be picked up. This weekend they will be staking the lot. Early next week, H will go and request for utilities. Then we should be ready to start diging, IF the weather permits!
We need 2 weeks of good weather/no rain to get the basement foundation done. <crossing fingers>

Thanks! Good luck to you too. I was definitely surprised with how fast we got the permit after seeing posts here saying 3-4weeks. I almost didn't believe our builder when he said it will take only 3-4 days. lol. Ours only took 4 days!
Hope the month of October will have great weather so we can all break ground!
