And I watched it while doing other things which is also a bad sign- a season premiere should warrant my undivided attention.
I'm only hanging in there just in case Taye Diggs takes off his shirt.

Not so much bad as boring. Of course it's a matter of opinion! But I don't hate the show or love it... I am indifferent. I used to love it.

This would be the only good part of the show. I had it on while I was doing other things last night. It was just so boring.

I guess I think it was boring because it was so predictable: Pete is saved, Addison still wants a baby, Sam still doesn't, Addison still has someone else tempting her even though she wants to be committed, Violet still can't help butting in, etc etc....
It was typical because most of last season was boring too! I've just kept watching because I tend to be really loyal once I start a show.

What's the deal with Addison at the shrink's office? This is new right--is this going to be every show now?
And if so let's just show the flecking shrink. That's annoying the crap out of me. He doesn't have to be a "character," but c'mon....and I'm wondering WHY they are doing this....what's the point.
I'm kind of excited to Benjamin Bratt join the practice.
That bothered me too! I thought they were going to show him/her at the very end and maybe there would be some surprise factor in who the shrink was (character or actor). Weird.
I do like B Bratt so maybe he'll keep me hanging on a little also....

I think the characters on the show are kind of weird:
Pete was so hot when the show first started but he has NOT aged well at all.
Meanwhile Taye Diggs is caught in a hotness time warp and has not aged a day.
Charlotte looks fine
Amelia looks better--thanks wardrobe styling
Addison is also not aging well I don't think..I'm not sure why..
And the addition of B Bratt--You can tell he's aged but it looks so good on him..
I am so excited for Benjamin Bratt. He is sexy. Other than Taye Diggs, the show is seriously lacking in sexy men.
yeah it wasn't great as far as premieres go, however it wasn't terrible.
i almost gave up on this show last season, but the charlotte/rape storyline pulled me back in.
the shrink thing is kinda meh, has been done before, and it was really just a way to have a voiceover by the main character (similar to Meredith's voice overs on Greys).
