A little change-up to the usual Friday Five, and I figured since things are slow it cant hurt to put up another one to try to get things going -- just post a picture and answer the questions!
1. Yourself. Do you like having your picture taken? Why or why not? Do you have a "good side"?
2. Your pet(s). What are their names? How long have you had them?
3. Your favourite vacation spot. Describe exactly where the picture is taken. What's special about this place?
4. Your bedroom or favourite room in your home. Explain or tell a story about some of the items in the room.
5. One of your favourite pictures of all time, whether for artistic or sentimental reasons (it doesn't necessarily have to be one you took yourself). Why is this picture special to you?
Re: Another Friday Five: Pictures!
1. I HATE having my picture taken. I always look so awkward. I'd rather be taking the picture than in the picture. I guess my left side is my good side - my hair is goofy on the right. The only good picture day I had was my wedding!
This is the ONE photo I like of myself that's right side dominant:
2. Oscar! He'll be with us 5 years this March ?
3. Honestly? Washington was amazing. It was beautiful. Tropical spots are nice and all, but they don't have WA beauty. This was taken at Soleduck Falls in Northern WA - it's now a canvas on my wall:
4. I have no pics of my house really. But my favorite room is the kitchen because it's new and all our style.
5. It's hard to choose just one favorite, but I love this one of Jamie & I snorkeling in Tulum. I love this pic because it was a new experience for both of us and we got to do it together.
1. I do not like pictures of myself. I don't think I'm terribly attractive, especially my nose. My side profile looks like an old Roman painting. And right now its even worse since I'm trying to grow out my hair and its coming in unevenly giving me a total fem-mullet. But, here's one from our wedding, with my dad, which I like because I look like I'm having a good time.
2. Here's our cat. Gunther. He'll be 10 in a few weeks. He's pretty cool but's gone a little wiggy since Phoenix got here.
and my amazing office fish Fizzle McBizzleton. This fish is over two and is still happily swimming around his tank. He even swims to the front of his tank to say hi when I come in every morning. So friendly.
3. Disneyland. I used to go at least once a year, and when I lived in So.Cal, I had a resident's annual pass and could go whenever I wanted. Being there just makes me happy, and I'm probably one of the only people that likes the smell of Pirates of the Caribbean.
4. I don't really like our house; it not terribly baby friendly, so we've only been able to childproof part of the downstairs and even that was just recently. Although its cool that we have the green belt in our backyard (foresty hill) it also means we don't have a backyard. This also makes the living room feel like a cave since it doesn't really get much natural light. Heres a pic where you can kind of see the greenery through the windows. Its also a cute one Phoenix.
5. I don't know for sure its a favorite, but this picture makes me chuckle every time I see it. I took it at the early premier of Star Wars III. George Lucas is from Modesto, so the city made a big to-do about it. I just find it kind of ironic in a way, or just thought provoking and amusing.
