And I don't even recognize myself!
Re: I changed my avatar
LOL! At first I thought it was a cross between Adam Ant and a character from Avatar, but on second look I think it's Bowie.

David Bowie. With an eye patch. I love him. DH thinks it's so bizarre that I love Bowie so much, but I just think he's so fabulous.
I love Bowie! He's still hot, and he and Iman are so gorgeous together. I remember when he went on tour with NIN a while back, and I was so mad I couldn't go. My friend went and he was all, "meh" about Bowie before. And then after the show was a HUGE fan.
(I just realized that I was thinking "a while ago" was like 10 years. But no, it was closer to 20. I have GOT to stop thinking 10 years ago means the 90s.)
I so did not need to hear you say that. Thanks for making me feel about a bajillion years old!
And, ew, you think Bowie's hot? Like, attractive hot?
Oh my gosh, I would do anything to see Bowie live. I could recite the Labyrinth. Seriously. I could do a one woman show of it.
My avatar is some artist's rendering of Bowie as the Starman.
My youngest sister is 19 and she loves Bowie because she has 3 older sisters who forced her to listen to his music. Anyway, her 20 year old boyfriend doesn't even know who David Bowie is. Yes, this is real life. Somehow (and not surprisingly), David Bowie came up in conversation the first time I met the poor kid. So our first meeting ended with me very frustrated and singing Bowie songs to try to convince him that he must know Bowie and just not know it, and him just shaking his head at me.
I do the same thing...whenever I think back to the 90's it seems like it wasn't long ago at all. Then I realize I am just old. Ha ha ha.
