So if you post something on Craigslist

aren't you wanting to, you know, sell it?

Ugh!

I'm looking at this beautiful bed on Craigslist for a pretty good deal.  I send a friendly email "I'm very interested in the bed you have listed.  Is it available to look at this evening?  My cell number is ******* if you want to reach me there.  Thanks! D"

Reply: "Sure."

Me: "Okay, my husband and I can probably be there around seven, is that alright?"

Reply: "Yes, its available to look at then."

Me: "Thanks.  So, where are you located?"

Reply: "Street number and street name."

Me: "What township is that in?  I'm not finding it on Google."

Dude...its like pulling teeth to get this person to sell their crap to me.  I know if I was trying to sell something I would be as helpful as possible.  If you don't want to sell it, don't list it!!!

Re: So if you post something on Craigslist

  • same thing always happens to me! We were trying to buy tickets for tomorrow's KState game on CL and every time I had to ask a million questions because they weren't providing details. The last girl didn't respond for 24 hours and the game is tomorrow so I got different tickets then she was mad and wrote a sassy email about holding them for us. Well, respond quicker, because I need to know!
