UT football game with a 1 1/2 year old?
We'll be visiting Austin in a few weeks and would love to go to a UT game, but we have a 1 1/2 year old dd. Is this doable or crazy?

No kids here either, but I have seen a few people at the games with kids of this age. So I think its possible but I would be prepared to not be able to stay for the whole game.
Oh, the other think to know is, they have to have a ticket no matter how old they are. I didn't think they really enforced this rule, so at the last game I asked a lady who was wearing her probably 1 yr old in a carrier. She said she has always been required to show a ticket for the baby.
Whaaa? They are going to charge me $85 for a 1 year old? Thank you so much for this info- I would have bought tickets and never thought to ask about her. Guess we'll have to skip it this time.

If you want to just tailgate, you are more than welcome to come by our tailgating group! We are on campus and in a park. Very kid friendly as almost all of the folks have kiddos! You can get the game day feel without having to spend a small fortune!
We do have food and drink sponsors....so you don't have to bring much out there!
My best friend tailgates in the group and she rarely goes into the game. Lots of people just watch the game from our tailgate.
We are at the corner of 24th and San Jacinto and our group is called Burnt Orange Fan Zone.
