I really want one but I don't know if it's worth having yet another appliance around and having to buy cups all the time.
Is there a wide variety of decaf coffe and/or non coffee (hot chocolate, chai) options fo cups?

Re: Do I need a Keurig?
YES!
I got BF one and he loves it. I also got him a reusable cup so he can buy regular coffee and use that instead of always using the k-cups.
There are tons of options!

With that...can we just use like regular Folgers coffee grounds from a can? It won't ruin the Keurig? We haven't looked into that, yet. I didn't know you could use your own coffee....

We have the cheaper one...I think the Elite. It works just the same and takes up less space. I have friends that have the pricier ones...I see no difference in performance or taste.

Yup!
He said it works great!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine! I have 1 for the office and one at home. I have the cheapest (single cup) at home and then bigger one that does different cup sizes at the office (I think that I'm going to switch that so I have the bigger one at home).
I love that the coffee is the same each and every day. The cups are premeasured and it is always consistent. I also love how many different things you can get...chi, tea, hot coco, coffee.
Last week target had a $20 GC if you bought a keurig. I got mine at Kohls on sale for $99 and then had a 30% off coupon.
THis is my biggest problem and why I stopped making coffee at home. It tasted different every day (and it was never wondeful). I also never drink more than a cup so making even 1/2 a pot is wasteful.
Ok, I think I've convinced myself! Now to see if Kohl's has it on sale b/c I've got coupons

I swear to you, the absolute BEST INVESTMENT WE EVER MADE in a kitchen appliance was in a Nespresso (we have the Cube model) and an Aeroccino frother.
Seriously. The cups are essentially the same price as the K-cups and they are 800% better. Swiss-made, the real deal.

yes!
We have the B40 Elite and I love ours. It works great--I think the main difference between it and the more expensive models is that it isn't programmable, but honestly I wouldn't use that feature anyway, so it doesn't make a difference for me.
I love how maintenance-free it is and how fast it makes my coffee in the morning since I am usually running late
I have de-scaled it once, but that is the only real maintenance required.
If you get one, check out Big Cat Coffee. they have great sampler packs you can build so you can try different kinds without buying a whole box.
