There goes that idea
I was so happy to have DH's Christmas present already figured out (his birthday is in November, so I always struggle to come up with two great gifts for him in a short period).
I was going to get him an iPad. It was perfect because we were going to be back in the US in early December and I could have picked it up cheaper there than here in the UK. He hadn't really said he wanted one, but with the amount of time he spends playing on my iPhone and using my laptop, I thought he would have loved it.
Well, the other day he tells me that he thinks he wants an iPad - and I was feeling great that I already had that planned out! Then he says that he heard there's going to be a new one out early next year, and he wants to wait for that. Boo. And I'm back to the drawing board for his gifts.
Do you already know what you'll be getting your H for the holidays?

Oh, boo, that sucks. Though I'll confess I'm always waiting for the next upgrade, too!
My H wants training sessions at our gym. I'll probably buy them earlier than Christmas to avoid the holiday rush on trainers, but I'm going to get him a few months' worth of sessions. He injured himself (shoulder and knee) this year, has gone to physical therapy, and feels like he needs a boost back into serious weightlifting once PT is over. So he asked if that could be his gift.
I thought about that, and may wait and see if they give a better idea on release timing. One drawback to that, though, is that I don't know when we'll be back in the states (or have someone coming to visit), and I really don't want to pay UK prices for it!
