I feel sorry for your husband's
[sic]
My favorite thing about P&CE is when someone says something funny and irreverent, then several posters get all up in arms and say "are you serious?". It's hilarious. I realize that my mentioning it sounds alarmingly like the ML retort of "lighten up", but it's been happening a lot lately.

Teehee!
I know, I'm really liberal and all, but please bring some facts or something useful to the discussion. Actually, the adamwife bashing is getting a little old. We need to stop fueling her persecution complex!
Excellent point. I seem to have missed all the earlier conversations with her, so this week was really the first time I've interacted with her. She's still something of a novelty to me.
But I will try to cut back in participating in any threads involving her.
but thats whats so upsetting.
It is upsetting, but bashing or nagging or needling will never change people.
I agree. I've debated her a lot, but I think i've always been respectful. At least i have tried to.
I try to stay on the debate side of the line rather than the attack side. ?But, I'll admit, I'm an aggressive debater. ?I would say, I'm a master debater, too
?I've given up on her, though. ?I try to debate, but when people won't respond to questions, I just get angry and give up before I get too nasty.
It's just so hard not to be angry. ?I think people are frustrated with the anti-gay thing, and she presents a nice anonymous target that we can lash out at to relieve some anger that we can't in our everyday lives.?
