is that why we havent heard it was the last season, because they wanted a huge shocker ending.
or is it going to be something where it isnt the last season, next season starts out with the shooter being the one who was shot.
im going with the end of the series though.
not a fitting ending, in my book. ended too abruptly.
I don't think this is the end, because that's not really how the show has worked in the past. If it is, I'll be pretty mad at them. They had finally recaptured some of what made the show great this season (specifically, they got rid of Celia).
Sidenote: I think it was Demitri with the gun. Either that, or it was someone from the government going after Doug. He was a way bigger part of things than he had been in the past few seasons.
DH thought it was Demitri's sister with the gun. I am still not convinced that Estaban is dead, it seems like that happened to easy.
I hope they bring it back for one more season just so they can tie things up.
I felt like it had a very "Sopranos" style ending.
The gun person could have been anyone -- do you know how many enemies all of those people had? And the target might not have been Nancy -- they all had enemies.
Interview with Jenji Kohan about the finale in the link. She makes it sound like it's completely possible for another season, maybe more. She also mentions that the shooter is after Nancy and is someone from past seasons. "The past always comes back to haunt you."
That list is so long! Someone avenging Pilar, Esteban, the DEA husband, the other government officials that were killed because of her, or even U-Turn. Not to mention Guillermo, Heylia, Pouncy House or the cop from this season getting revenge for all the sh!t she's caused them. Anyone I'm forgetting?
Did they show Jill's husband at the end? Maybe she divorced him in the move. What about the baby? Think it might be Andy's?

I wish the whole season was as good as this episode!
I'm assuming the move to the compound let Jill to leave her husband. I also assume the baby is definitely Andy's.
I am hoping that whoever is after Nancy is a random past enemy that we don't see coming.
Oh goodness, I really hope there is another season. This would be an awful ending if they don't get picked up again.
Nancy's white shirt at the end was awful. Almost HALF a breast showing and it was squished to high heavens.

What baby? Did I miss something? The funeral lady he was with several episodes ago?
