? for the moms and pregnant ladies...
What were your early pregnancy symptoms?
I have so many, but I just went off BC and feel like they might be in my head or due to my body adjusting to being off the pill. I am just approaching the start of when I can take a HPT.
Thanks for sharing
Re: ? for the moms and pregnant ladies...
Oh, are you excited for the HPT?? I was not off my BC for very long until our BFP. 5 or 6 months at the most- so it is possible!
I thought my period was late from being really stressed out, at first. I had typical signs like my period was coming: my boobs got a bit bigger and sore and I was tired. After all my interviews passed, I realized my period still wasn't here and the boobs weren't getting any smaller, haha
So I peed on a stick. And then 4 more. They were all correct
Good luck, girl!
My biggest tip-off was that I was really tired. I had slept a decent amount one night and then took a 2-3 hr. nap that afternoon and when I woke up I felt sooooo exhausted still I felt like I was drugged. My sister asked me if I was pregnant and I said no I didn't think so, well 3 days later I took the test and sure enough I was!
I was really thirsty one day and I also had to pee all the time which I found odd, and also I had heartburn one day which I found odd because I hardly ever get heartburn. None of this really led me to believe that I was pregnant though, it was just when I was so sleepy and then AF was due that week so I decided to test.
I went off BC sometime in February and we found out on March 22nd, so it can definitely happen fast!
Good Luck!!!!!
my eating habits changed really suddenly...I was hungry for weird things (like an extra spicy burrito for breakfast...and I'm not a fan of extra spicy anything), and then I'd get full or just not want to eat anymore after a few bites
for me also, I developed insomnia. Where most women are exhausted and super sleepy in the first trimester, my earliest symptom was the fact that I literally couldn't sleep when normally I'm a super sound sleeper. I also was more emotional than just PMS...
and this may be TMI but my boobs got super, super sore and my, ahem, nips (shall we say?) got really weirdly sensitive...like, I hated water in the shower even touching them.
I will say that prior to testing at 4 days late, I thought I was PMSing crazy badly because of my boobs hurting, my emotions AND the fact that I was having really bad cramps (which I later learned was my body going through the implantation phase of pregnancy). I wasn't planning on testing originally, but something was nagging at me to take a test....glad I did
oh, and for what it's worth, I was only off my BCP for 2 months...and we weren't trying....big surprise! but a great one at that!
Thanks ladies! I did the POAS thing this morning and nothing. But it was the first day that online calculators said I could. I think I will wait until Wed or Thurs now when AF should arrive. I don't want to get excited and bummed by testing too early. I know it will all work out. I have just had so many symptoms that I want to know!
first off, how long have you been off the pill? Not saying it can't happen, but it usually takes 3 months for the pill to get out of the system. So your hormones could be out of whack if it's only been a month. But best wishes to you.
I had extremely sensitives boobs and they were excredibly sore. That's the one and only symptom I've ever had.

Wow! I cannot imagine having cycles that long! Have you tried charting your temp to keep track of when you might be ovulating? I haven't done this yet. I didn't want to jump in so hard core. If it takes a while to get a BFP I would consider charting.
I hope you get some good news from the doctor! Good luck and thanks for sharing!
