Last post as an IN. For now.

Hey ladies!  I've been completely MIA for the past couple of weeks but it's been pretty crazy trying to wrap everything up and pack up my apartment in Phnom Penh.  Plus I've been spending almost all of my free time with friends who I'm really sad to be leaving and who also happen to be Irish so there has been much beer drinking.

Anyways, I left Cambodia late last night and am now at the airport in Seoul... next stop LA!  H has found an apartment and we're ready to start getting settled back in the states and I'm so excited to see him, but a little sad that my IN time is over for now.  Can I still stop by the board sometimes and say hello?

Well that was a crazy couple of years.

Re: Last post as an IN. For now.

  • You are only about 30 min away from me!

Good Luck on the rest of your journey back to LA and of course you can still post here...besides readjusting to being back home is part of being an IN.  That's great that you already have an apartment to go back to!

Please keep posting here.   Have a good flight!

You couldn't quit us if you tried!

I think I've said this before but your pictures in your blog are so amazing.  Way to make a girl feel inadequate! :)

  • Have a safe trip!

I was thinking about you the other day as I was listening to a French radio podcast. It was about Fran?ois Bizot's new book. He was arrested back in 1971 in Cambodia and sentenced to death. He is the only survivor because he was saved by Duch, a Khmer Rouge.

  • You must check in from time to time.  Many of these ladies know what repatriation is all about.  Enjoy your reunion with your DH.

Aw thanks!  I need to do some serious updating in the coming weeks, so there will be lots more soon.

And thanks everyone! I'm safe and sound in LA and ready to get some serious sleep.  14 hour time change is not cool.

Ah yes, my H was working on that case and was in the courtroom for the appeal.  It's interesting stuff, I'll have to check out that book!
