Did you ever catch that Design by 9 show on Bravo? I remember seeing it and then it disappeared.. I didn't remember it until I was flipping through the channels and saw them on a new show on HGTV, Home by Novogratz.
I remember thinking their family situation was a little crazy (7 kids and they were flipping their home in NYC), but I like Cortney and Robert. They are definitely quirky, but there is something I like about them.. they seem grounded or just not like other reality tv persona. Something about them is "real", if that makes any sense :P
Just curious if anyone else caught their new show. Their decorating style can be out there, but of course it makes the show interesting.

I watch their new show, but find them more annoying than anything else.
I just feel like they try too hard and tell us too often that everything they do is innovative and hip. They always do something that I think is good, then ruin it with something that seems like a cheap/tacky thing to throw in the mix.

So true! I think they are hands down the worst designers I have ever seen (admittedly I've only seen 3 episodes, so maybe they were just spectacularly bad in those).

Funny this was a post-I JUST ranted about how I am over HGTV (the Novogratz among others). They just seem to think their *** doesn't stink and if anything looks "normal" it sucks. I think they are pretty stuck up, actually. And what is with having to move all the time? I think they are just into themselves and the kids are along for the ride.
