As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Any tricks for staying hydrated when everything u drink makes ya vomit?

  • When I had the flu back as a kid my mom would get me slurpies from 7 eleven, easy to drink and easy coming back up if it must. Plus, a wide variety of flavors and colors. :-) Good luck. Any thing else I would recommend a gatorade or powerade or ginger ale or 7 up (might settle the stomach). I would also try some saltine crackers. A few at a time.
  • -ice cubes and Popsicles,-don't eat or drink anything for 30min to an hour after vomiting to let your stomach rest,-Coke, small sips. anything else (including 7up/sprite/Gatorade makes it worse unless I have kept food down already.
  • One of the ER docs I used to work with SWEARS by flat Coke. Original Coke, not diet, stir with a straw until there are no more bubbles & take small sips.

    This! Even better if it is room temperature.
