I posted on here awhile ago when we thought we were going to be moving to Boston, but things have changed. We have received notification of a PCS to Andersen AFB in Guam for the spring which was completely unexpected! We have a dog that we will be bringing with us, and I know the rules are very strict regarding quarantine. Our vet on base has not been much help even when I brought the paperwork in for them from the base vet there. I am also having trouble finding consistent information about what is required. I want to make sure that our dog has the least amount of quarantine possible so if anyone has any information about importing pets or anything about being stationed in Guam in general I would greatly appreciate it! TIA!

Gotcha. Overseas duty station would work for the description too.
Its just a petpeeve of mine bc DH is from Guam and it amazes me how ignorant some people are ... Not in your situation, but when they ask if he married me for a green card I want to smack someone lol

That would bother me too. I don't blame you for feeling that way. I think that's kind of inconsiderate to ask someone the bolded anyways. It amazes me how many people don't have a filter on the things they say to others.

I'm mostly on the Bump. I dont have any info on pets but we just got stationed at Andersen two months ago. If you have any other questions, I'd be willing to help you out. You can send me a PM. Just let me know.
Welcome to Guam.
Oh if youre coming in Spring you'll just miss the rainy season. It'll be the dry season by about January.
