sunday morning fun!

Good morning!

What's up for your Sunday? This morning I ran over to Urbanity Dance Project (they just opened a new studio on Shawmut Ave. directly across the street from my condo) and took a Zumba class! It was great. The instructor was fun and the class was well paced. I liked it! (There were only two of us taking the class, but today was their first day. Hopefully it will build.)

Now SO and I are off to SOWA for a bit.

I have to work on my lecture notes for a presentation I'm doing at the end of Oct. then we are off to hear the amazing Audra McDonald perform at Symphony Hall.

Looking forward to a great end to my birthday weekend.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Re: sunday morning fun!

  • Happy birthday!

We had my birthday dinner out last night. It was nice.

This morning we went to breakfast with my parents. We are just hanging out for now, it's chilly here, so we'll all take the dog for a walk soon and I have to run to a friend's house to pick up a crate for my new foster dog.

  • Punky- Happy Birthday to you as well! Cake

What kind of puppy are you fostering? I wish I had the ability to foster dogs. I have an adorable kitty, a small condo and work all of the time... so fostering is out of the question. (Plus, I'd be afraid I'd end up wanting to keep them all...) [&]

  • He's a chocolate lab. I think he's mixed though- the shelter says with pit bull but he is so, so, so skinny that it's a tough sell, IMO. I'll be able to tell more when he gains some much needed weight! DS and I actually found him, he wandered up the driveway last week. I put him in the yard and called ACO who came to get him. They took my cell down in case he never got claimed, and well, the rest is history.

I kept my first foster dog. Haven't had the urge to keep the other 12 yet! LOL

You could foster kitties though! I know ARL and MSPCA have programs.

  • Glad you had a good birthday, Ginger!

You can totally foster kitties! Really, you can foster any pet animal. When we move to a new house, if we have the space then I am totally going to insist that we foster rabbits and have a bunny room. And I will start pestering DH to foster dogs again.

  • Lady, Fostering Bunnies would be awesome. I think my kitty is to much of a princess to deal with another kitty coming into her home. If we had a larger place I would consider that. We have a tiny, one bedroom condo. My cat would be unamused if we bought another "friend" home.
